Twilight tells the story of Isabella Swan, a teenager who has decided to move from Phoenix, Arizona to live with her father in the rural town of Forks, Washington. Bella is mostly ambivalent about her new living arrangement but is somewhat put down by the unfamiliar green scenery and the perennial cloudy/rainy weather conditions. Her biggest concern, understandably, is fitting in with her peers (she is a teenager, after all). Bella is quickly thrown off balance by a seemingly hateful glare from Edward Cullen, a pale, devastatingly handsome boy who only hangs out with four other pale, devastatingly good-looking people. Edward’s glowering fades away after saving Bella from a swerving truck and he starts getting chummy with her. As things heat up, Bella notices odd things about the Cullen clan and starts to suspect Edward is a vampire. Edward admits to craving Bella’s blood, though he claims that his feelings for her are forcing him to control himself. He tries to dissuade Bella from having a relationship with a blood-drinking non-human, but she has already fallen in love with him. Just as Edward starts to trust himself with Bella’s life, an unexpected visit from other vampires puts Bella’s life in danger and forces the entire Cullen clan to try to keep her safe.

To put it bluntly, Stephanie Meyer’s writing style is plain. She doesn’t have the beautiful prose of Anne Rice or even the vocabulary of your typical best-selling YA writer. Imagine a friend telling you about a dream they had and you’ll have a sense of how the story unfolds. Most of the time, Meyer telling you what is happening with the characters instead of showing you. And yet, something about the story kept me reading. Maybe I just like vampires. The book kept me interested through the boring parts because Meyer threw in little tidbits of Edward’s true nature as the story progressed. Summary – great cleaning, a bit heavy. I have used this a couple of times so far. Came out better than the professional cleaning I had done 2 yrs ago.

Cleaning – use recommended amount of detergent (low sudsing) and the hottest tap water you can and this will clean very well. The first carpet I attacked was the family room which had not been deep cleaned in quite a while. The take-up tank was full of very dark brown water after the first pass. Did a second pass and it took up even more. Again, this carpet was pretty bad.

Rinse – There is no “rinse mode” but that doesn’t matter. Just fill the tank with clean hot water, don’t add any detergent, and guess what? Rinses. I did rinse also and after it dried it seemed to help the feel of the carpet.

Maintenance – I had none of the leaking issues mentioned. You just need to be sure to properly seat the tanks and everything is fine. Definitely take the 10 minutes to clean the machine after you have used it. The spin scrub brushes come out easily, remove them, rinse them well and pull out any trapped carpet fiber. I have a spray type sink faucet and that seems to do a great job in rinsing the take-up tank. There are a lot of reservoir type spaces in the tank and turning it upside down and spraying up at it seems to work well.

Water use – The tank covered about 80 sq ft but I used the clean surge feature, which also works well, quite a bit on this carpet. Otherwise probably a tank for a 10 x 10 area.

Suction drying – The carpet was damp when done (these were short pile carpets also) but dry within 4-6 hrs.

The only slight “negative” – it is a bit heavy but that seems to help keep the nozzle on the floor and help with suction.

It also makes it easy to grab it off the dash to enter the address. It sits still during emergency responses. I had low expectations with this inexpensive vacuum but I purchased it due to the low price, free shipping and the great Amazon reviews. We have had it for a year and it works much better than my old vacuum from Sears that cost $250. I tried a Dyson at one point but it was so bulky, difficult to clean my car with and expensive that I returned it to Sears. That was a total waste of money. This vacuum is relatively light and has great sucking power and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. It is totally sufficent and it costs what a vacuum should cost.

Neale is on target! Finally! Everything I ever felt about GOD has been revealed In this “new” way! All my life I’ve been told I was going to HELL because I just couldn’t be good enough. I was just “too human” I guess. Why would a “LOVING GOD” make me the way I am, and then condemn me for being that way??? Yes ,I know we have free will and choice, but WHY was I choosing ,or being the ways that were so supposedly wrong?? I couldn’t help it. Sometimes I felt or acted a way that wasn’t “appropriate” According to “OUR WESTERN BIBLE”. This caused me to research other, more ancient religions. The TRUTHS began to seep out according to my soul. Now I live and act according to MY OWN TRUTHS as I FEEL them being revealed by GOD. Why can’t GOD speak to any of us as HE did in times of old? Did He not tell us that He is no respecter of persons?? People, HE is there. You have but to listen. Listen to the still, quiet voice that resides within your soul. He has no so called “chosen” people. WE are THE CHOSEN PEOPLE!! I have never been happier or more at PEACE, and if you think that is “Demonic” then you need to re-evaluate what your God is to you. GOD IS LOVE. LOVE FEELS GOOD. Love feels Giving. Love feels Compassionate. Love feels Forgiving. Love feels FREE, Love feels that all is right with the world, even in it’s current condition and WE can make it better if we so choose. As a group or an individual. The heart monitor reading is too small to read when you really want to control your activities. Distance measurement was OK. BUT, after 9 months it simply failed, the reset recommended by Garmin did not help, and their service offered to try and fix it for 79$! without shipping. This is an overpriced old technology. Buy a simple HRM, and wait for GPS to be more efficient and cheaper on cell phones.
