I bought the Garmin Forerunner 305 as a gift for my wife on Christmas; but it didn’t work. I then went to the site to return it for an exchange. Amazon could only refund as they had no more in stock. I sent them [Amazon] an email describing my problem and requested the same pricing on another one. The response was that they had no stock, but, I could purchase from another vendor listed on their site. I told them that the price had gone up dramatically since my purchase. They told me that they couldn’t control vendor pricing. I communicated my disappointment to them and they agreed that should they receive more inventory, I could purchase at the same price, As this was a gift, the next question was; when would they receive more? They didn’t know, but, I should keep on checking the site daily.
Sooooo, as this was a gift -and couldn’t be delayed indefinitely,I bought it elsewhere and paid significantly more.
Even though this is the first problem I’ve had with Amazon, it couldn’t have come at a worse time; or with a more important purchase.

Great transaction, product is of very high quality selling at a nominal price. I am not sure why other companies are selling this product at an exorbitant price. Overall transaction was very smooth, super quick shipping process.

Product worked perfectly with Comcast HD Reciever and Toshiba DVD player connected with a Sharp 42inch HDTV. Both video and audio performance are incredible.

I will recommend this product to anyone anytime.

I really loved this pedometer when I first got it. It tracked everything I did, even the “steps” I took while working out with exercise DVDs. I loved that I could carry it in my pocket and it still accurately counted my steps. Then, the battery went dead. I replaced it, and it was no longer accurate. I re-entered the stride-length information, as the directions specified, and it just wasn’t counting steps accurately anymore. I thought maybe I bought a bad battery, so I bought a new one and re-replaced it. Unfortunately, that didn’t help. I’m very disappointed in this product.
