Our vet had demonstrated this brush for us and we loved it but didn’t want to spend $50 on it. We ended up finding it from an amazon seller for $14, so we jumped on the chance to buy it. Our dog, a beagle/Shepherd mix (at best guess), seemed to have an endless undercoat. We tried two other brushes: a bristle brush, which is actually for finishing, and he loves getting brushed with it but it doesn’t do anything during shedding season; and a slicker brush, which he didn’t really like and didn’t seem to pull out much hair. He doesn’t love the Furminator either but that’s just his temperament. He tolerates it, and it pulls hair out so well that usually he’s not fed up with it by the time we’re done brushing him. Highly recommend this product, it’s certainly worth paying full price if you can’t find a discount.

I am impressed with this cleaner.

I have just used it again today after a few months since the last use. And I realized I had not left a review for the Hoover Steamvac that I had purchased from Amazon. And I feel strongly enough about it that it deserves a positive review.

The Hoover SteamVac cleans great. It is easy to use and isn’t hard to push or pull, and I have arthritis in my shoulder and my knees.

The assembly of this machine is easy and didn’t take long.
I recommend reading the manual thoroughly and follow directions carefully and learn about this cleaner.
If you do that I don’t see how there will be any hitches.

I find this machine is efficient, my carpet looks bright and clean again today, this is great in high traffic areas, and we have a cream colored carpet, so you know it shows up dirt and spots quickly. The Hoover steamvac pretty much deals with that. I can’t believe how bad our carpet was, I just emptied 3 canisters of dirty water, but it was well worth it.
I feel that I won’t be embarrassed if anyone visited me right now as my carpet looks great.

How to USE: I recommend pushing the cleaner slowly but surely and evenly, the slower you go the more the spin brushes can do their job, and on the pull back the water gets sucked up more efficiently and the carpet will be drier.

I like the fact you can see the water being sucked up and you can tell when there is no more moisture to suck up and so you can move to another strip of carpet. I find the carpet dries quickly.
When you walk forward you squeeze the trigger to release the water/solution, then let go of the trigger and pull back the steamvac over the same strip of carpet, on the bull back the cleaner sucks up the water from the carpet. You can move the cleaner forward again without squeezing the trigger and pull back the cleaner again so as to suck up more of the moisture. I am happy with the product overy but the 64GB makes the song sound like it was recorded in a concert off a mobile phone that could not deal with recording the bass. This is easy enough to fix in a way by going to the EQ and turning on the bass reduction EQ. But here lies another problem. This turns on the bass reduction EQ for even the headphones. I don’t want this. And I’m way to lazy to keep switching between the two.Anyway just thought I’d let you guys know. This is the ONLY reason I gave the iPod 4 stars and not 5. I would have given the 8GB model a 5 star rating. Apart from this annoying problem, the iPod touch 64GB is ACE! Love having a touch with such a large amount of space to play with! I just bought the 64GB model 2 days ago to replace my 8GB 2nd Gen model that I owned for barely over a month. I just needed the space! I like how cheap it is on Amazon compared to buying it from the Apple store. Apple store = 399+tax which takes it to close to a 450$ here in California with the tax .I mainly wanted to write this review to let people know that the iPod touch 32GB and 64GB have an annoying problem. The external speaker plain sucks compared to the 8GB model. I guess you could call this a subjective opinion. When you out the same song on both the iPods, turn off the EQ and sound check and play the song this is the difference : The 8GB is nice and clear, and is distortion free.
