F 135mm EF Canon details
This lens is regarded as one of the best three prime lenses that Canon produce (Along with 85mm f/1.2 L USM and 35mm f/1.4 L USM).
The images from this lens are very sharp, contrasty and show a lot of details even in wide open at f/2. The depth of field is very shallow at f/2. As a result, the background will be compressed.
Because of that features, Canon 135mm is ideal for portrait, especially candid portrait, street photography and indoor sports.
Build quality is very good, the best Canon can made. The lens is not as big and heavy as telephoto zoom.
But unfortunately, this lens does not have Image Stabilization built-in. Image stabilization in telephoto is quite important so you can shoot with shutter speed lower than the focal length X crop multiplier. For example, when you attach this lens into crop sensor camera such as Canon Rebel series or X0D series, then you need to set a shutter speed to at least 1/200 or greater to get a tack sharp result. It is also depend on how steady your hand is. If you have steady hand, then 1/160 will be adequate.
This lens have a decent closing focus (1m) this is better than most of the telephoto zoom range. You can also get a extension tube to get the focusing even closer (.6m with 2x extension tube). Therefore, this lens will be quite good for macro photography.
Application
The application of the lens will be quiet narrow. Candid photography is one in my mind when I think about this lens. It is because the telephoto range, maximum aperture, and the size is not that big and obtrusive.
The second one will be close-up and head-shoulder portraiture, and then for indoor sports such as volleyball, basketball and so on.
The downside
This lens does not have a wide range of application because the inflexibility of fixed focal length lens (prime lens).
Although the focusing is quite fast, but it is not as fast as EF 50mm f/1.4 USM or EF 85mm f/1.8 USM. The AF tracking is poor. So in the fast action sport, expect to miss some shot

329D EF Casio 1AV for good
An amazing look into the lives of the women that raised generations of their white employers’ babies. You don’t want to put it down. Aibileen’s story makes you want to hear more stories about the era, the people and the morals of the society she lived in. A must-read.

135mm EF 28 Canon happy
I purchased this instead of an iPhone – No way can I justify $80/mo. I don’t need that much phone.
I am loving my iTouch and am discovering more apps to play with.
I am not giving this 5 stars for the following:
The sound without separate speakers is poor.
The battery life is abysmal. You need to be tethered to some power source in order to use it for any length of time.
Still – I love, love, love this!

Canon 200mm 70 EF answer
I have 2 copies, one for the house and one for the car. I have read this book over and over. I’m just kinda crazy about it. I found out that Kennedy’s and John Lennon’s assassins and the guy who shot Reagan all had copies of this book. Kinda creepy but still a good, fun read.

After using the 50mm lenses i realized that the kit lenses(EF-S 18-55mm) were not the best around, as many reviews has mentioned the 50mm f1.4 has great image quality and is a must for portrait pics, but maybe in my 1.6x crop sensor the area that can capture is quite small, and make them a difficult choice for photos inside small places, no to take the whole family, thats impossible, but to take a xMas tree and your little child playing near it, don’t get me wrong, it takes great photos thats why i gave 5 start, but i feel that you need to get far enough for three faces in the frame, thats the point for my review.
So I returned and instead i bought the cheaper one (50mm f 1.8) I don’t use it a lot, so is a fair price and I hope the lenses survive, because is really a cheaper made. I switch it with the 10-22mm and the kit lenses, and whenever i can i use it, the f1.8 also provide great quality photos.

Why EF f1.8 50mm Canon
Nice lens. I haven’t had the opportunity to use the lens as much as I would like so far. But the one time I did put Canon EF 50mm f1.8 to the test so far, it performed beautifully and as advertised. I know i will make great use of this lens as I use it more.
