This scale is everything it’s description says it is. I received it promptly. It is very accurate and easy to use. I highly recommmend it.

I purchased the Garmin Portable Friction Mount for my first use of my Nuvi 765T for a trip to Tennessee. The road was winding and at times not smooth, the mount held in place on my Toyota Highlander dashboard. The mount fit perfectly on the left side, closest to the driver window. Very easy to adjust for good viewing. I would recommend this product.

Simply stated, I threw the book across the room when the elephant was hurt…one of many cruel things done to animals in the book. As hard as I tried, I could not find anything interesting in the book. Scattered and full of unbelievable misery.

After my 12-13 year old Eureka finally started showing it’s age while still doing a decent job, I bought the Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum, Bagged, U5140-900 from a local Do It Best Hardware store– I figured the few extra dollars it cost at the store was worth the convenience, in case I needed to return it. As a test, I first vacuumed my 3-room apartment using my “suficient” old Eureka, and then re-vacuumed with the new Hoover. Although my old vacuum seemed to perform better than it had in months (as though it somehow “knew” it was being compared to it’s new replacement), when I re-vacuumed with the Hoover, it sounded like I was vacuuming the parking lot. I couldn’t believe all the sand and dirt I heard it picking up!

I had been hesitant to buy this particular vacuum, because of reviewers’ complaints of it being too loud and made of cheap plastic, and needing frequent bag/belt replacements. Although it’s not a quiet machine, it’s not as loud as my regular-sounding Eureka was. In fact, my cat (who always runs and hides when I vacuum) actually stayed in her cat bed and watched as I ran the Hoover for the first time. Who says vacuuming is supposed to be a quiet chore, anyway??? Yes, the attachments are plastic, but no flimsier than the Eureka’s, which I found to be more than adequate. The Hoover’s plastic body helps keep it light-weight, yet it’s sturdy enough for the job. I’ve only had the Hoover for 13 days, and I’ve used it 3 times– haven’t broken a belt nor filled a bag, but when the time comes, I will probably order replacements from Amazon, as I believe the prices were lower when compared to WalMart. The vacuum came (from the store) with 3 bags, which may need to be replaced often only by virtue of the fact that this machine picks up so much dirt! The light-weight construction and strong suction make this model very easy to use and virtually self-propelled.

This is an interesting book. It’s well paced and the story keeps pulling you along, although I can’t think of a single thing that makes it stand out. It’s not mysterious or adventurous and has very little romance in it, yet you keep reading. Maybe it’s just plain good story telling.

I felt the vacuum itself was decent and I was satisfied with its performance. But the part which holds the hand release broke after 3 uses for me and even though it is well within the warranty, Hoover hid behind the dealer in finding a way out to escape from warranty. The local dealer was horrible since he said it must have been dropped or something like that for it to break. He said he does not think that it is a manufacturing defect. I said “seriously, can you try lifting this thing up, it is so damn heavy, how can I drop it?”. I spoke with Hoover customer service they conveniently hid behind the service guy and said they will have to go by what he says. Guess it can’t be more convenient, so much for standing behind the product . Well, I guess there is not much I can do. Spent 140 $ and got 3 vacuums out of it and a whole of heart burn and frustration.

Okay, so I’m a little pissed that I never got this book over the mail. I bought it ahead of time because I knew I would need it for my philosophy class within 3 weeks, but I never got it. I emailed the vendor, he showed me that there was a usps confirmation that it did get sent, so I guess someone stole it from my mailbox? I mean, I got the other books I ordered, I don’t understand. So I had to buy this book again at my college bookstore for like $50 because they ran out of the old ones. Then I emailed the vendor again, asking what I would do in such a case that it might have gotten stolen. He never answered, so I guess that’s why I’m rating this really low because I didn’t get helped and I lost time and money.
