It paid for itself the first time I cleaned the carpets in our house. Great suction, which doesn’t leave carpet wet. Carpet dries in 2-3 hours with a ceiling fan on. Attachments work great on auto seats and carpet. I just purchased a used Chevy Silverado which had never been cleaned and was used in construction. After using the Hoover SteamVac the interior looks like new.
