I am a big reader and a bit of a techy. I’m not one of those people who like books because I like holding a book in my hand. I like books because I like reading. The kindle really helped me read more than I ever could have with books alone. The portability and size helps me read in those 5-10 minute periods of time when I normally wouldn’t pull out a book. The portability helps out a lot when I start reading an 800-page book that normally would be several inches thick, but with the kindle, it remains very thin. The one downside that I would give is the robotic voice of the text to speech. But then again, after a while it grew on me, and now I enjoy it.
