I find this product to be great when your out on the field where it may be a little dusty or a little wet. Otherwise, I don’t like it when I’m in-doors. I’m often previewing my shot to ensure the shot looks the way I want it, and having to open and close this between shots is a bit of annoyance. So I have it pocketed in my bag when I’m outside, otherwise, there are better solutions, and after having the LCD unprotected for many a few years now, it’s been okay without.

Just keep the camera in a bag when you aren’t using it, and you’ll be fine.

Please be aware of an important issue with this cable, even though it is recommended for the eTrex GPS series it will not fit their flat 4 pin connector.

For a first time writer…the author is spectacluar!! I can’t seem to put this book down! I wasn’t sure if I would like reading about this topic, but I love it! Well done & hope she writes more!

Linux Fundamentals and Certification

While I don’t completely regret reading this book about a young man who joins the circus as a vet in the 1930’s, in hindsight I defintely would have chosen another book. It starts off with a bang, then slows down significantly in the middle, and it ends quite nicely. It’s your typical boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl story. I did enjoy the historical fiction aspect of it and I truly enjoyed the final portion of the book where the author writes about why, how, and what she did to write this book.

I’d recommend it to the causal reader, but a more sophisticated reader may want to look elsewhere.

Had never heard of the series but purchased it based upon the individuals and subject matter. What fun….truly enjoyed it and certainly recommend to someone who likes mysteries (and cooking)! I plan on purchasing season 2!

Pie in the Sky

Most of us know that common househeld products have multiple uses. For example, vinegar and baking soda are almost staples for solving a dozen and one different household problems. However, some of the solutions you learn in this book might seem right off the wall! Alka-Seltzer to clean a toilet bowl – and just why would you WANT to use Alka-Seltzer? Jello, as a foot deodorizer – no doubt, designed just for those who like that squishy feeling between their toes. Alright, those may seem a little extreme, but the book truly does have it’s helpful hints and merits. There is no guarantee that all these little tidbits of information are going to work, and some I would dare not try. If I ever suggested to my darling husband that he shave with Reddi-Whip, he might think I was getting just a wee bit kinky! Some of the tips may seem far-fetched, zany and bizarre but others actually do work; for the price of the book, it is still a good deal.
Clean It! Fix It!

You know, I first tried to read this book when it first came out and it offended me. Now all these years later, I picked volumes 1 and 2 up at my local library. Still feel the same way. There are so many wonderful sacred texts to read why would anyone waste their time with this? The real clincher for me came in volume two when he is discussing sex and children. And I quote: (Page 105)

” In some societies, parents couple in full view of their offspring-and what could give children a greater sense of the beauty and the wonder and the pure joy and the total okayness of the sexual expression of love than this?”

This simply outrages me. This guy is one sick puppy.

We had an old beanbag mount which did not work very well, the suction cup device on the Garmin unit would loosen. This is very good. The ball on the end snaps perfectly onto the Garmin nuvi, and we can adjust the angle easily. So glad we purchased this!
