As of today I have not completed this book. So far I have been very disappointed. It is not for children to read as it is so vulgar it disgust me. I am no prude but it seems no sentence is complete with out repeated curse words. Louise

I ordered the 16 gb and in turn I get a card which the max size is 14.7 that is over a gb missing. I would be find with even 15.7 but being over a gb come on people that is a joke

If you loved the movie Twilight, you will love the book all the more. As a mom of teenaged girls and a romance author myself (Spin the Plate), I don’t have much time to read. On a long weekend away at the beach I finally got to this book. How fun to be able to read additional scenes (not in the movie), get into the minds of Bella and Edward, and enjoy a teasingly drawn out romance. The first touch (not even first kiss) doesn’t happen until about 200 pages in. There also are pages and pages of wonderful Q&A in this book on the inner workings of living as a vampire and as a teenaged girl. Absolutely delicious.

This is such a great little pedometer. I love the clip for when I don’t have pockets, then I can clip it onto my purse or waistband. Using it made me realize I don’t walk as far in a day as I thought I did. I’ve dropped this onto hard floor several times and it keeps on working perfectly. If you need a pedometer, get this one – it’ a great value.
The Challenge of Globalization

With the backdrop of the civil rights struggle, TC Williams High School in Virginia is forced to desegregate. A black football coach, Herman Boone (Denzel Washington), is sent to replace the white coach, Bill Yost (Will Patton), further igniting tensions. Boone convinces Yost to stay on as a Defensive coach and both deal with the issues of integrating the team in their own style. The players have to learn to look beyond skin color and stereotypes and come together as a team. “Based on a true story,” however loosely, it’s still a highly inspirational movie.

I really love this movie, and love to watch it whenever it’s on (my kids were flipping channels the other night and I couldn’t help but stop what I was doing and sit through the whole thing). There are other inspirational football movies (”Rudy,” “Hoosiers,” etc) but this one is my favorite. Not all of the actors are perfect, and some of the characters are overly-stereotypical, but it’s a great message. One of my favorite scenes is when Julius, a black player, visits a white player in the “white” neighborhood and is stopped by a police officer – just to congratulate him on how well the team is playing.
